Students and their families at John H. Taggart School now have access to a new Groceries for Good produce stand, coordinated and managed by Eat Right Philly, Share Food Program and supported by our partnership with GIANT Company and their generous donation!
Since 2022, Groceries for Good has provided fresh, locally sourced produce, healthy foods, and nutritional resources to students and families at sites across the School District of Philadelphia. There are currently 18 schools with Groceries for Good stands.
Most recently, Harriett’s Bookshop hosted a Sip & Sign with Emmy-award winning host of the Food Network’s “Delicious Miss Brown”, Kardea Brown, for the release of her cookbook, Make Due With What You Have. Attendees were invited to make a donation to Groceries for Good. You, too, can help us keep this vital programming strong and sustainable by donating to Groceries for Good today.
