The 4th annual citywide “Dress Down Day for Philly Public Schools” was on May 12th 2023, and many bought their Dress Down Day t-shirts and wore their Philly public school pride to work or school! $20 of each t-shirt purchase benefited a Philly public school of the purchaser’s choice– you choose the school when adding items to your cart.
All participants were encouraged to share photos of themselves wearing the t-shirts on social media using hashtags #DressDownPhilly, #PhillyPublicSchools, #FundPHLschools.
Dress Down for Philly Public Schools is an annual t-shirt sales drive to raise much-needed funds for public schools in The School District of Philadelphia. Since 2018, more than 3,600 individuals have participated, raising over $170,000.
2023’s Dress Down Day t-shirt selection had some extra flavor. In addition to the classic t-shirt design, we offered a special edition tee, designed by local streetwear brand P’s & Q’s! P’s & Q’s is founded and owned by brothers Ky and Rick Cao — and they’re also Philadelphia public schools alums!
