Each year, the Lindback Foundation recognizes 60 distinguished teachers and seven principals from The School District of Philadelphia with its Lindback Awards for Distinguished Principals & Teachers. The Fund is pleased to partner with the Foundation through these awards to celebrate educators and public schools who demonstrate excellence in promoting learning at the highest levels.
On May 6th, the School District of Philadelphia celebrated seven outstanding school leaders as recipients of the 2025 Lindback Award for Distinguished Principals. Honored for their exceptional leadership and dedication to their school communities, each principal received a $20,000 award to support their school, with funds administered through The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia. The award ceremony featured student performances and community recognition, highlighting the vital role these principals play in accelerating student academic achievement.
