On the evening of Wednesday February 19th, the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia celebrated a significant milestone: a decade of dedication, innovation, and impact as an advocate and steward of public education. The Fund’s board, staff, and great philanthropic supporters attended the 10th Anniversary Celebration, honoring the service of our former Board Chairman, Sheldon Bonovitz. The event also served as a successful fundraiser, raising $307,350 to benefit Philadelphia’s public schools!
Together with you, we celebrate ten years of transformative initiatives and programs that have enriched the educational experiences of countless students in our community—as well as $64 million raised since 2015.
