What is the Philadelphia Public School Giving Circle?
The PPSGC is a collective philanthropy initiative that empowers donors to make a direct impact on Philadelphia‘s neighborhood public schools through targeted micro-grants. By pooling donations from individuals like you, we’ll fund small-scale, high-impact projects in underserved schools throughout the city.
Our New Role
The Fund is proud to now host and manage the PPSGC, streamlining the process for both donors and schools. This partnership allows us to expand our reach and increase the impact of your generous contributions.
The PPSGC offers a unique opportunity to directly impact our city’s public schools. Here’s how it works:
- First, you become a voting member for the current grant cycle with a $250 minimum contribution
- Next, your donation gives YOU a voice in selecting micro-grant recipients
- Finally, you will have the opportunity to participate in quarterly voting rounds to fund innovative classroom projects that interest you!
