The Fund has teamed up with actress, comedian, producer, writer (and West Philly native!) Quinta Brunson to launch the Quinta Brunson Field Trip Fund which will cover costs associated with out-of-classroom opportunities for students in Philadelphia’s traditional public schools!
Quinta is personally kicking off the Field Trip Fund’s launch through an initial contribution of her own. On this Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting you to join Quinta and support the Field Trip Fund, with funds collected going directly to resources that provide schools with no-cost field trips, allowing students from underserved communities increased access to out-of-classroom experiences.
“Field trips were some of the most memorable parts of my own education growing up in Philadelphia,” said Quinta Brunson. “They opened my world, sparked my creativity, and helped me imagine a future beyond what I saw every day. Going somewhere new shows you that the world is bigger and more exciting than you believe, and it can shape what you come to see as achievable. I’m proud to support Philadelphia students with experiences that remind them their dreams are valid and their futures are bright.”
On this Giving Tuesday, join us as we expand real-world adventures and out-of-classroom opportunities for all children in Philly’s public schools. Give today to the Quinta Brunson Field Trip Fund.
